Hi I would like to know how I can update my router firmware for free and also not damage my router.
I am just trying to secure my router so it would be very hard for hackers to hack the router.
so far I got a mac address list filter for wireless connections. I don't have a mac list for hardwire connections.
Should I make a mac list filter for the hardwire connections also or would it not matter.
I have a link system router. I would like to upgrade my firmware but am somewhat afraid that I can screw the router up using a wrong firmware update.
any ideas how to update firmware safely.
