Problem is right now, Im on Xbox live..
Connected with a Ethernet wire going to 1 of the ports on the router..
Now where do i connect this ethernet cable.. Because if i connect my Xbox to my computer using the USB Adapter..
How can i play on Xbox live ?
So should the setup be like..
Modem > Router > Computer < USB Adapter Ethernet <Ethernet Wire from Xbox to Adapter < Xbox ?
O.K, I'm about to go for like 6 hours (Sleep then Piano) but leave any other questions here.
Once you have the Adapter you plug it into your computer ~USB Port~ then hook your Modem to your Router and your Router to you Ethernet port in the back on your computer. Now you have 1 Ethernet port left because you have the USB adapter which is now an Ethernet port. Plug in your cable from Xbox to Adapter then when you turn your Xbox on you'll have Xbox live. This way your splitting your Internet like another router except its going straight threw all your computer. Once you turn your Xbox on you should have another Local Area Connection pop up and it should stay there forever(or until you remove the Adapter). Also forgot to mention you can go buy another PCI Card(port) and install it on your computer, that way you don't need the Adapter. Although I find the Adapter easier.
you only need crossover with the original xbox, the 360 does not, you can use standard cables.
