Ok, 1st off i put this here because i am not sure of the correct section.

I am wondering about the mods, who all is there left:

Crow, Bsdpunk, Sangerdion(mispelled)(unsure if is a mod still)

The reason i ask is because i have herd that crow has left (temporary or permanent i dont know, i am not sure if it is true or not) which would mean that Bsdpunk and the Sang' are the only ones left, but i have not seen Sang in a long time, and i believe Bsdpunk will not be able to contribute to HF as much as he currently does ( unsure of this aswell)

I guess the point of the thread is me asking Omni, how many active mods do we have? (out of general curiosity)
omni will make the right decision when the time is right...once bitten twice shy is a good saying and true also but making a mistake once is good to ensure we are extra careful in future as omni will be.
The only super moderator listed on the forum team page is Crow.

i understand where u mean, i dont want to rush off and appoint new mods. i just am worried about the frequency of supervision on this board, i am a man of principales, i like the rules and i enjoy when they are followed, right now if someone came in and spammed/flammed what would happen, no mods are on.
true but what would you rather have, a spam /flame post or another backstabber?
well if my idea that was previously stated went into effect then it would not be that big of a problem
I think it's more important the site is secure and that any new mods are more trustworthy. I am not even sure I can achieve this. I will also be taking extra measures and having new moderators sign contracts. I won't be assigning anyone under 18 in that case to a moderator position.

I would be better off with no mods than ones who are malicious.

way to crush my hope :P

Seems like a good idea, but is a contract over the internet actually legally binding?
@knight
thats what mail is for, u know with a post office

@omni
good choice, most people under 18 dont usually make good mods anyway, i used to run my clans website and figured that out the hard way

Isnt that a bit excessive, mailing a contract to someone to make sure they wont try to mess with your site. I would not even do that, that would be a bit to invasive for my taste.
