My only lingering thoughts are: Won't this consume triple the CPU-usage than we're used to? So won't WLOS end up just being sluggish?

Also, which OS takes control on certain things, like right-clicking? And installed programs?

It will only be sluggish when running with equal power to all hypervisors. When the WLOS is running 3 Games in XP and One Application in Linux, for example, the system resources will grant the XP hypervisor a higher priority, meaning that as long as you don't have excessive AND demanding applications running on all hypervisors at once, you will be alright and the performance loss will be hardly noticeable, unless you're Flash Gordon. For example, right now I am running 4 programs, all in XP and 1 of those would be considered demanding but my cpu usage is still under 1%. Not necessary to have any OS take control of hogging the mouse, my UI doesn't include the use of desktop icons yet. As of right now there is a windows bar on the right side of my screen, a linux bar on my left, and mac bars on top and bottom. If you click on the bars, it knows what you're clicking on. As far as desktop icons go, the icon knows whether it is Linux, XP, or Mac so thats not a problem. All desktop settings will be controlled by XP, but if you want to change OS setting then you simply right click on the correlating OSs bar. And of course, Macs don't really need a right mouse button anyway.

Yeah, I would love to see this public, and I would be the first one to test-run it if you need. Do you plan on making this free or charging people?

me2 i'd be glad to test it and i have a dream to make an os to but i dont think ima do it i got other plansBebe-pleureGlare that i must do Gratte
So if I get this right, you're basically using Xen3 no? If not, than which executable format do you plan on using? Binary emulation between the three or one common and "custom" format?

While I would not use xen3 regardless, the fact that the bases for all VHs is winodws XP would further distance me from thought of using it. As far as what I am actually using, I won't announce yet. I will say it is based on proven software that I have customized for a UI advantage.
Alright, lets start naming some programs everyone wants to see in this. Name any program between Windows, Linux, and Mac that you want to see in this release, remember not to suggest files that are too large like photoshop suite to fit along with the install on one dvd.
programs, like for what u mean games/tools/ etc. like yahoo messenger? or like a calculator? or one of those built in games like solitaire?
Wow this sounds great. I'll test it too Thumbsup.
And about programmes... Firefox as main browser Oui.

Anything but games. I have already implemented Kopete so there will be no need for any other IM. But in particular, what AV do you want to see, what hackers tools do you want to see, poweriso/magiciso, daemon; Apps like those. Obviously linux is known for apps like Kismet which I will include, but once again those kind of apps. Also, what kind of UI features do you want to see, I will be uploading a screenshot within a few days of the UI with a program running from each OS. My first release of this will be in a rar archived Norton Ghost format. This will allow it to get out quicker and it will be the alpha phase with very basic UI, I have created a UI to suit myself, but I want to create a universal one that everybody can enjoy. The Alpha will be that gateway to suggestions.
I'd like to have a clock where it gradually decreases the time in format of December 12, 2012.
Then it just melts down you computer. ^ ^

-Would you be able to do something like a multi-command line switches?
Like switching from Windows' DOS to Linux' then Mac's etc.

Or you have your own command lines?

and what would be the GUI? Is it original or would you be copying it from other OS?

When you say multi-command line switches, do you mean one command terminal that controls all OS in one application by switching within it, because I could definitely write a custom terminal to do that with OS tabs for example.

To answer your question about GUI, which GUI: the Destkop UI, application GUIs, or...

I could add a countdown clock, but it would be pointless because the very making of WLOS will throw off the celestial bodies enough to prevent catastrophes. But in all honesty, I can add a timer app that performed countdown functions, I could actually see a use for that.
