Is anyone here familiar with the program DeepFreeze, it is a program that makes that computer stay the same. no matter what changes you make to it, when u turn it off and back on it goes to the way it was before you messed with it. I was wondering if a batch virus would completely erase it, or if frozone would catch it.
If this is like a firewall or something,then I think it would prevent damage.
deepfreeze is dangerous. the reason why is because if it is not compatible with any component on your computer, it will cause a hard crash, requiring you to either perform a manual registry restore (that was fun :D) or reinstall windows. i know, i had it happen to me. it wont' work on my laptop because my chipset driver and one of its drivers are incompatible, but on my other computer, it works fine. if you can get it to work, GO for it!!!! it's an awesome piece of software and works wonders if it is compatible.
to answer your question, if working properly, deepfreeze will delete any changed data on your computer upon reboot. this means all your batch damage will be gone. hopefully any batch damage doesn't mess with any specific files that could damage deep freeze itself.

i only know the hacking program called deep freeze one of the most powerful and it does that to the victim i think is it the same one your talkin about?!
No the deep Freeze im talking about is used in many places like school, and college computers owned by the establishmet. it is used to keep the software of the computer consistant and unchanged so that no one does anything undesired to the computer.
