Ok, So I'm downloading Ubuntu as we speak, and I put my CD-r in and named the CD-r Ubuntu, and now I have my CD-r opened and it says "Drag files into this folder to add them to a disc" So once Ubuntu is done downloading, I just drag it into the disk file? Then I restart my computer and Ubuntu is there?
Run install from the Live CD, you'll see an 'Install' icon on the desktop when you load the Live CD, double click it.
I got a 700mb disk, Ubuntu is 696mb, Now the disk is apparently too small. Also, It's .iso so whenever I try and open it, it only says "Select program from list" Wtf? I hope I can get it.
oke, just open the .iso file with your burning program to burn it.
DONT open your burning program first,
normally your program will detect ubuntu as a .iso file and you can open it with it
if it's .iso than you have to burn it with Nero. .Iso is like a pack that you can burn on a disc.
Ok, Listen. I have a blank CD, and its 700mb, But linux is like 690mb, and the disk still can't fit it. I have no idea what I'm doing, I need a new version of linux that is less MB, not a whole lot though, and I need a link because I AM NOT using a torrent, I want an official download.
oke, this seems like there s no end, if you can wait a bit i ll make you a vid tutorial, k?
No time... I just need a good well written tutorial without Torrents, and t hats under 650mb
search at google for
"imgburn"
install it, the program is selfexplaining, its really easy
when you make it this way there will be enough space on the disk, i promise
But what do you mean "Make it" how do I get Ubuntu on imgburn?
Will be home later tonight, Gruaduation thing for my school, Its for cock suckers :P!
